My thoughts...

zoho wiki - slv desk: some useful information provided, but it's not interesting, not user friendly, I've wondered if many of our staff/patron using it.

pbworks wiki - princeton: this is an interesting site to visit, good and elaborative layout and settings, I like the index to the review on the left and the recent activity on the right. Great book review with star rating, easily to follow, definitely using it in the future.

wikipedia - St. Joseph County Public Library's Subject Guides: very friendly, very interesting With every category, you get some links to it. It would be a useful resource for education and community.

Learning Blogging

This is the first time I attend the learning 2.0 training, I know that it's quite simple and easy to create a blog, but having some official training did make the difference. I lost my password from last year after having my blog registered. I have to start from the beginning, which is better, as I learn every step and learn all the functions such as choosing your settings, layouts, colours etc...My daughter is saying to me "why do you have to learn to blog ? who would'nt know blogging?"

That's how young people today think of me, old generation...I just laugh, she knows that I do all sorts of things on my internet including planning my holiday trips from flights to hotels, reading other people's blogs but creating a blog is a funny business.
